Lymphatic Herbal Tincture
This lymphatic herbal tincture is made from high quality herbs and ingredients — some of which may have grown in my garden! If you are suffering from a sluggish lymph system and need help with detoxing and draining it, use this tincture along with the detox foot pads. Be aware this has cayenne in it — tinctured for 45 days! So diluting it in juice is the best way to take it.
Calendula: As a lymphatic, used to stimulate the drainage of enlarged, inflamed lymph nodes and is specific for the lymphatics in the breast and pelvic tissues. As an emmenagogue it has a reputation of helping delayed menstruation and painful periods.
Cleavers: One of the best remedies for swollen glands, cleavers can help with many lymphatic issues like edema or swelling. It combines well with urinary demulcents to relieve painful bladder & urinary irritations, stones & gravel, or other obstructions.
Echinacea: Echinacea can chase off or help speed recovery from an acute bacterial or viral infection, especially infections of the upper respiratory tract. As a stimulant for the immune system, it is best taken frequently at earliest onset of acute symptoms or if at particular risk of infection, but not as a daily immune tonic. Stimulates the immune system and improves resistance to infections. Can be used locally or systemically to protect against infection and helps repair tissue damage.
Devil’s Claw: Devils claw is used in the treatment of arthritis, and has significant anti-inflammatory activity. Other actions of Harpagophytum that aid in its anti-arthritic application are its analgesic and vasodilatory effects. Can be used in tendonitis and to treat degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Cayenne: One of the purest of all known stimulants and the most useful of the stimulating diaphoretics. Its potent qualities make it of wide applicability in most fevers (will increase body temperature), infections and general body cleansing. Great for the circulatory system.
Herbal tinctures as medicine
Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.
With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.
INGREDIENTS: Calendula, Cleavers, Echinacea, Devil’s Claw, Cayenne and Vodka
DIRECTIONS: Take 20-30 drops 2-3x per day as needed to detox your lymphatic system. Take in juice or tea. This tincture ESPECIALLY works great with the detox foot pads.
